51. ceremonia wręczenia nagród Grammy – gala, która odbyła się 8 lutego 2009 roku, gdzie ogłoszono laureatów nagród Grammy za dokonania muzyczne zrealizowane od 1 października 2007 roku do 30 września 2008. Nominacje do nagród ogłoszono 3 grudnia 2008 roku. Po raz szósty z rzędu ceremonia odbyła się w Staples Center w Los Angeles. Galę w telewizji pokazał CBS w USA o godzinie 20.00 miejscowego czasu, zaś w Polsce TVP2 o godzinie 2.00 polskiego czasu.
Podczas tej edycji Grammy nagrodę MusiCares Person of the Year za całościowy wkład w historię muzyki i filantropii odebrał Neil Diamond.
